Before I forget
Just picture this for a moment. You are in a giant fabric warehouse in south Philly. The radio is blarin' and every tune is one that you want to sing along to. You are filling up your cart with fabric, some earmarked for specific projects, some just too fun to pass up. Up the stairs walks a 70 something black grandma. She has on high heeled boots, a long coat, a fancy hat and a fantastic grin. She has some errant whiskers sprouting from her chin, but she owns them! She exchanges niceties with the guy at the counter and grabs herself a cart. She actually has to wrestle it from the other carts that are gripping it so tightly. Once on her way she begins to hum and then to sing along to the music. What is playing? SUPERFREAK! It is adorable. We both browsed some more and I took note that she sang along, tapped her feet or even did a little dance to every song. She was so hip and so adorable. Also to complete the picture I aught to ad that she was looking at the fabric in the fake fur section. I had been over there myself marveling at the cow print fur, but at $10 a yard, I couldn't afford to be so frivolous.
